Shine a Light

What can you do to keep the spark alive? How do you hold light in the gloom!?

For me, it's creating something, hopefully a thing of beauty, from a glimmer of an idea and a mix of materials. Piecing my boards together, carving and painting; adding shattered glass and objects discarded and forlorn.

All of this, and time, and a thing emerges that would not exist but for my efforts, and for my desire to add to all that there is that uplifts us.
