Art in the Time of Corona - I Look To My Hands

These are such strange and drifting days, and I am plodding ahead as though there really is a future I am moving toward.

This piece is for a show in the fall that I am working on, as though I believe it is going to happen. The truth is, I have no idea what the next days, weeks or months will bring. I can only manage that which is immediately in front of me.

And so, I look to my hands. Their strength, their reach, their capabilities - my hands guide me to what actions I can take, what things I can create, and what comfort I can offer this beautiful and heartbreaking world.
