The Four L's

So I've been thinking about loving - and losing - and longing - and letting go.... About how we all come into this world naked and alone, knowing no one and carrying nothing. And about how we pick up - things, interests, abilities, and loved ones; about how we fill our days and hearts and lives. And then about how we lose what we love despite our clinging; how we let all of it go, bit by bit until the day we are finally ready for our journey to the light, once again naked and alone. And for me, this is all part of being part of this beautiful and heartbreaking world...
